Why?
Cycling is a popular mode of transportation and exercise, but it can be dangerous due to the lack of protection offered to cyclists on the road, which makes it essential to find ways to improve their safety and reduce accidents and fatalities. According to statistics, cycling accidents are on the rise, and cyclists are more likely to be involved in accidents than any other road user. To reduce accidents and fatalities, it is essential to improve the safety of cyclists.
How?
One way to improve the safety of cyclists is to increase their visibility to other road users. This can be achieved through high-visibility clothing and accessories, such as reflective jackets and helmets. Another effective way to increase visibility is through the use of lights and turn signals to alert drivers of their presence and intended movements, making it easier for drivers to anticipate their actions and reducing the risk of accidents.
What?
We developed a turn signal system and brake lights that can be attached to a cyclist's jacket. The turn signal system uses lights that flash in the direction the cyclist intends to turn, and the brake lights illuminate when the cyclist slows down. This system makes it easier for drivers to anticipate a cyclist's movements and reduces the risk of accidents. Additionally, it is easily removable, making it convenient for cyclists to use and wear.
Features
Turn signals
Our turn signal system uses bright orange LED lights to signal a cyclist's intentions to turn, making it easier for drivers to anticipate their movements and reducing the risk of accidents.
Brake lights
Our brake lights illuminate red when the cyclist slows down, alerting drivers to their presence and reducing the risk of rear-end collisions. When the driver emergency brakes the lights will flash red.
Ease of use
Our turn signal system and brake lights are intuitive to use, providing an easy and convenient way for cyclists to increase their visibility on the road and improve their safety.
